MANAGER – Energy & Telcom

Eraneos Iberia is looking for a MANAGER of Energy & Telcom that will report to the Partner.

The candidate will have experience in Energy and Telecommunication areas, and he/she should be based in Madrid.

The candidate will be able to:

• Promote the growth of the company, based on defining and implementing a business strategy aligned with the vision inside a Market or Sector, disruptive and valuable for the clients

• Lead Quint Markets team by developing high-value «breakthrough» ideas in its market (energy & telco & media) based in the understanding of the client needs and potential evolution and along with the Capacities team

• Develop and maintain contact with C-level decision makers within its target industry/market (Finance & Insurance) on the Iberia area

• Identify and establish key relationship with different buying influences, including but not limited to account executives and necessary external influences from business partners

• Maintain and develop account relationship together with other consultants involved and account team, secure and manage Quint resources to be properly deployed and match client business needs

• Manage the sales process for the portfolio of strategic opportunities in the account from opportunity identification to deal closing

• Perform business development strategy and plan on Iberia (its sector) within new accounts. Develop and implement go-to-market strategies based on its sector understanding- to achieve objectives and penetration across the market

• Business opportunity management. Generate high level leads and pass on these internally in the organization

• Target list management and develop and maintain trustful personal relationships with assigned customers

• Monitor constantly market trends, industry changes and news, competitive environment; identify changing market demands

• Manage their projects delivery to ensure quality and client satisfaction

• Develop effective management of a team in the department, delegate to team members, give relevant coaching and development activities

• Establish and implement short and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures for the “vertical organization”, although he/she will only develop its sector of expertise

• Develop a differential team in attitude, cohesive, motivated and aligned to the different functions they have

• Represent the Quint brand before customers, partners, entities in the IT sector and other relevant third parties

Technical knowledge and experience

1. Experience in the IT sector with a business development profile (selling services)

2. Understanding & background in managing energy clients in professional services or consulting sales

3. Passion for IT innovation

4. Ability to manage and consolidate consulting firm processes

5. Experience in managing P&L
6. Qualities of a cohesive leader, based on listening to people, motivation and integration

7. Promoter of the Eraneos brand in the market /communicator/»networker»

Intrapersonal skills

8. «Hunger» for improvement, personal growth, not afraid to leave their comfort zone, energy

9. Humility, which involves listening and learning

10. Hands-on, “lean” attitude

The profile we’re looking for is a professional with a clear focus on market and clients, and expertise in managing in energy clients, although he/she will need to have delivery experience as well.

In respect of the ideal candidate profile:

• The nationality is not relevant, but he/she should live in Madrid

• Fluency in English is a must, since it is the official company language

• Relevant university education; MBA or similar program will be a plus

• International experience is highly desirable; either by having developed their professional career in a multinational (Anglo preferable), and, if possible, by having experience in a responsibility role in other countries or regions

• Experience in a multinational in the IT sector is highly recommended, as «proof» of «methodology» of development, learning and relationships with customers and third parties • Experience managing an Finance & Insurance sector in a professional or consulting services firm. Not only in attracting and developing accounts, but also in understanding a sector and organizing the team for its development

• Conceptual and strategic ability

• Sales background with ability to lead the team and foster the growth of the company

• Interest in innovation, ability to merge new technologies and requirements of companies • Work experience of minimum 14 years

• IT consultant profile, with skills and experience in strategy, business development and rigorous management

• Experience in management and P&L responsibility

• The most important personal skills: humble, honest, hands-on, autonomous, proactive, high energy -hunger for growth-, respectful of people, ability to listen and learn, familiar with diversity
